The son of a machinist and hotel housekeeper, Dennis Puleo joined the Marines to fight in Vietnam. During his last engagement, he took a direct hit by a hand grenade, was shot twice, then torn apart by a mortar. After being awarded 3 Purple Hearts, Dennis spent a year recuperating in a VA hospital.

He left the hospital determined that hard work and a positive attitude would make him rich. An aggressive entrepreneur, he turned a home-based business into a multimillion dollar franchise system. Despite all his success, he couldn’t remove the emptiness that plagued him deep inside.

Today, Dennis shares how he discovered success that REALLY matters. He draws from his experiences in the foxholes of war and the board rooms of business to encourage others toward a life of hope, purpose, and significance. Whether Dennis is speaking or consulting, he draws from real life experiences (where the rubber meets the road) rather than drawing board “theory.”

Dennis and his wife Joanne reside in Orlando, Florida where he is a board member emeritus for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and a business consultant. In his spare time, Dennis is a sought after key-note speaker/trainer for corporations and franchisors.
